A Photo a Week Challenge: Clouds

clouds_nmp

Yesterday and this morning, while other places in the country were able to get good shots of the super blue moon and lunar eclipse, here in the Salt Lake Valley, we had clouds. Beautiful clouds, but still clouds that made it hard to impossible to get good photos of the moon. (We’ll just have to wait until 2037.) But it’s okay. I love photographing clouds.

IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO OR TWO (OR MORE) OF CLOUDS.

Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Each week, I’ll come up with a theme and post a photo that I think fits. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Thursday, when the next photo theme will be announced.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “A Photo a Week Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.
  3. Come back here and post a link to your image in the comments for this challenge.
  4. Follow nancy merrill photography so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements.

    1. Thanks, Linda! It’s been a weird winter for weather so far here. Very little snow overall. One massive storm that dropped between 1 and 2 feet of snow, and that’s about it. But we’ve had some spectacular clouds. 🙂

      1. Oh, it is okay Nancy. A cousin of mine wished happy birthday to some Hanna instead of me on my birthday. Would you believe that?? 😂😂

  1. Between the clouds that seem ubiquitous this time of year … and all the trees … I’ve given up on skies until we are out and about in the spring. But I love those dark, glowering clouds over the bright horizon! It looks like rain was on the way.
