This picture looks up at the steel rope bridge that connects the ruins of Castle Ehrenberg with the fortress ruins on the hill across the highway.
Here’s a picture of what the bridge looks like when you’re on it.

Great shot for the challenge, Nancy. I love crossing this type of bridge, especially when it moves a bit and give me a fright. π
It was very stable, but coming back there were several school groups, and some of the kids were getting it to sway a little more than was completely comfortable. π
I might prefer looking up at this to walking across it. π

I was with my structural engineering husband, who verified that it looked completely solid and stable, which it was. π
The mind says that, the heart says otherwise. π

Thanks for playing your photos are remarkable as always. Thanks Nancy!
Thanks, Cee! I love your challenges. π
Gorgeous views but not sure anyone would be able to actually get me on that bridge! π
The hike up is quite something. After that, the walk across the bridge is nothing. π
Oh, to be about 20 years younger….. LOL!
LOL!
oh that bridge makes me nervous and dizzy! great shot!
Thanks! The height wasn’t so bad, but the hike up the hill was a killer. π
Fantastic π
Thanks!
That looks sufficiently scary for me to add it to my list of things to do to help me overcome my fear of heights. I’d go weak at the knees but I’d do it.
I highly recommend the hike and the walk across the bridge.
