A Photo a Week Challenge: Green

green18_nmp

I might make this an annual challenge. St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, and I will of course be wearing green. And eating corned beef and cabbage. I am Irish on both sides, and I love green. I don’t remember the name of this waterfall, but it was one of my favorites on Kauai. And look at all of that green!

IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A NEW PHOTO OR TWO (OR MORE) FEATURING THE COLOR GREEN.

Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Each week, I’ll come up with a theme and post a photo that I think fits. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blogΒ (a new post!)Β anytime before the following Thursday, when the next photo theme will be announced.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post β€œA Photo a Week Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the β€œpostadayβ€³Β tag.
  3. Come back here and post a link to your image in the comments for this challenge.
  4. FollowΒ nancy merrill photographyΒ so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements.

  1. Gorgeous shot of Wailua Falls Nancy! I visited Kauai a few years ago. The falls are so impressive. The crazy thing is that you just park your car on the dirt road and walk over and take a picture. We also hiked to the river above the falls. Also pretty up there. I would love to go back some day.

  2. It being St. Patrick’s Day, Green is the color of the day. I was going to wear something green, only to discover the only dress I have in green is one that looks really awful on me. It’s not too tight, too loose, or badly made. It just makes ME look badly made.

Your waterfall looks as if it is part of a rain forest with that incredible richness!

  3. The picture looks great, and the challenge too. I too dropped a picture over this challenge.
