It’s another color challenge! We love color challenges. I do love color challenges, because they allow a lot more freedom. Red has become one of my favorite colors. My closet is full of various shades of reds. I think it’s because red goes so well with my first favorite color, green. When photographing red, it can be tricky to make sure the color doesn’t take over too much. It can also shade the rest of the image, depending on the lighting. Good luck, photogbugs! Have fun with the color red.
IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A SERIES OF PHOTOS THAT FEATURE THE COLOR RED.
Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.
Here’s how it works:
- Each week, I’ll come up with a theme and post a photo that I think fits. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Thursday, when the next photo theme will be announced.
- To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “A Photo a Week Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.
- Come back here and post a link to your image in the comments for this challenge.
- Follow nancy merrill photography so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements.

Beautiful picture Nancy!
so refreshing. I love red, but somehow don’t have many pieces in my wardrobe.
Great challenge for the white days of winter. It is hard to beat the red of the tulips!! My post is here:
Red is not my favorite color, but what would the world be without red?https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2017/02/17/red-music/
I do love tulips. When I started to look for red to photograph I realised it wasn’t as easy as I thought and several flowers I considered verged fro red to orange so I settled for this. http://farmerswifedaybyday.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/a-photo-week-challenge-red.html
A take on red from about 11 years ago. https://3rsofretirement.com/2017/02/20/a-photo-a-week-red/
