Over Christmas, my step-daughter and her wonderful boyfriend got engaged. We are so excited for them. They are wonderful together, and you can tell that they take very good care of each other. It’s been fun watching their relationship blossom from friendship to courtship to preparing for a lifetime together. They are so romantic, but not in an eye-rolling, overtly mushy way. They got it just right.
IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO OR TWO (OR THREE…) THAT PORTRAYS ROMANCE.
Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography. Here’s how it works:
- Each week, I’ll come up with a theme and post a photo that I think fits. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Thursday, when the next photo theme will be announced.
- To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “A Photo a Week Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ and “Photo a Week” tags.
- Come back here and post a link to your image in the comments for this challenge.
- Follow nancy merrill photography so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements.
have a lovely day! 🙂

Such a beautiful engagement photo
Thanks, Raewyn! It’s not an official one. I just snapped this as they were heading off to Chicago. They’ll be back in Utah for the wedding this fall, but will be living there.
A very happy looking young couple, Nancy. Here’s my contribution: https://nadiamerrillphotography.wordpress.com/2016/01/21/a-photo-a-week-challenge-romance/
Thanks, Sylvia!
That’s a great picture, full of joy.
All of my best romantic pictures are non digital — in albums. I know I could scan them, but I’m way too lazy for that, so I did something else. (Grins slyly.)
You’ll see 🙂
As asked, so given 🙂
