With the Christmas season upon us, lights have become an important part of most people’s homes and cubicles at work. At the Draper City Park, this tree is the center point of their light display. To get this shot, I placed my tripod on the hill overlooking the tree and asked people to let me get a clear shot.
IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO OR TWO (OR THREEโฆ) THAT FEATURE LIGHTS OF ANY KIND.
Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isnโt about photography. Hereโs how it works:
- Each week, Iโll come up with a theme and post a photo that I think fits. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blogย (a new post!)ย anytime before the following Thursday, when the next photo theme will be announced.
- To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post โA Photo a Week Challenge: (theme of the week)โ and be sure to use the โpostadayโณ and โPhoto a Weekโย tags.
- Come back here and post a link to your image in the comments for this challenge.
- Followย nancy merrill photographyย so that you donโt miss out on weekly challenge announcements.

Great choice for the season and it gives me a chance to air some of my favorite pictures … that look remarkably like yours. Honest, they aren’t from the same event. Unless you were at the lighting ceremony at Heritage Park … My post will be up Sunday morning ๐
Thanks, Marilyn!
And here’s mine :
