I’ve been trying out a new website to host my professional photo galleries. It’s finally to the point where I’m comfortable introducing it to y’all. Use the button below or from the side panel to the left.
I am slowly moving the current galleries to the new website and will eventually remove the old link from the menu.
Please let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.
Beautiful photographs..! Especially the happy couples 🙂
Looks great!
Thanks, Gary!
Thanks, Andy!
Looks great at first glance! How are you liking the admin side of it?
It’s pretty easy to use. I haven’t upgraded to the level where I can sell prints yet, but I may do that soon. 🙂
I am looking to start a website next year for prints so I was curious. But right now, I just shoot events and make CDS. I need to join the new age though, lol.
I only provide files on a CD when requested. Most of my customers prefer downloading from a website or a thumb drive. New laptops and some computers don’t even come with disk drives anymore. The cloud is the way of the world these days. 🙂
I know, I am dark ages. Part of it is that I have two jobs and photography is now just on the side. I so miss my fulltime photography studio job, but alas, bills demand to be paid, so I took the security of the government job over the fun studio. Bitter sweet.
Sigh. The sacrifices we make in order to eat. 😉
I know. But I try to make up for it with all my photo blogging and photo shoots here and there. In December, I am shooting a wedding in Barbados!
Oh, how nice and warm!
It looks good. I’ll be interested to see how you put the text in. You do the kind of wedding photography I appreciate. Classic, timeless. Pictures a bride and groom or mom and dad will still love in 20 year … or 50 🙂
Thanks, Marilyn! I really enjoy shooting weddings and families because I want people to have these memories in 20 or 50 years. 🙂 There are things I’m still learning on the site, so it will be interesting and fun to see where it goes.
Smugmug is a great site for hosting photo galleries. I’m not a professional photographer, but I have posted galleries there for several years and love the attitude of the creators/owners. It gives me confidence that Sumgmug is here to stay.
