While in Edinburgh, my husband really wanted to climb the Walter Scott Monument. He really wanted to climb every tall building we saw, but it wasn’t always possible. However, with the WSM, it is. There are 287 steps, and most of the climb looks like this:
You can see the joy in my hubby’s face. He was having the time of his life. And the reward? Well, his joy most certainly, but also this view from the top:

For the view, certainly rewarding 🙂
🙂
What a reward. Great view.
🙂
Your photo reminds me of when we climbed the 354 stairs up to Lady Liberty’s crown. 🙂
Wow! Thanks a lot. Hopefully not in one shot. Did you have levels where you could stop and rest?
No place to stop as it was quite busy, so we had to keep on climbing or get trampled. 😳
Glad you survived! 😀
Certainly a rewarding view !!
Amazing view! And I’m assuming you were right behind him on the way to the top!!!
We took turns going up the stairs first. There are four levels, so you can rest before heading up the next set of stairs. 🙂
And where were you? I bet you had the most reward in taking the shots.
We’re both photography nuts, so we had equal fun climbing and snapping shots of the. Kew. 🙂 Thanks!
Your challenges are very sweet rewards:)
