Nancy, your ‘dreamy’ photo is lovely. I love autumn–fall is the time of year when I go for long walks. But, I’ve found it very difficult to photograph–to capture the warmth and richness of the colors, the soft glow of the air, and the hazy light. I don’t know how to describe it, I just know the light is different in the fall, changing all the colors–it’s light that can be almost felt as well as seen. Anyway, your fall photo is beautiful–so peaceful, and I can almost hear those leaves crunching under my feet.
Thank you. This is my favorite season of the year. I understand what you mean about the difficulty capturing the feeling of fall with digital photography. I think it was easier with film. My husband is the very tiny figure in the center of the photo walking deeper into the shrubbery, and I can still hear the leaves crunching under his feet as he walked through them.
Lovely dreamy image, Nancy. 🙂
Thanks!
Very nice fall picture. I have not been hiking this fall and so will take extra pleasure out of any pictures I see 🙂
This is in Scotland on the Inverlochy Castle estate. Not much hiking, but a lot of beautiful trees and scenery. 🙂
Here are some dreamy offerings–at least, my notions of dreamy.
