Subtle translations of the theme, indeed, with the first one bringing in the photographer as a subject and the second one giving only the setting!
Although now, after reading the WP challenge and seeing their examples,, I see a different interpretation.
This first one is my husband as we were hiking into the cabin. The second is the fire we built inside to keep warm. 🙂
