For many people, the first time they see the Wasatch Front in Salt Lake City or Provo, they are amazed at just how big the mountains are here. This photo of Mount Timpanogos was taken approximately 15 miles west of the mountain, just to give a bit of perspective.
Cee, thanks for the fun subject!

They certainly are big mountains – great subject for the challenge.
Thanks!
Mountains are most definitely big. Stunning black and white. Thanks for playing.
😀
Great photo. The black and white really gives it an awe inspiring look to the mountains. Happy Easter. 😀
Thanks!
I recognized Mt. Timpanogas right away. It was quite an adventure. I actually climbed to the top of that gorgeous mountain long ago. You can read about it here, if you desire:

Your story is amazing! My husband wants to hike Timp this summer. I should have him read this. :O
🙂 I took some of the best photographs, using my wide-angle before it and all the rest of my camera and equipment were stolen by a druggie, then, only to have them ruined from a basement flood. The hike wasn’t really that difficult, not even the steep part at the end. Even though I’m much older now, I could still probably make it without too much trouble, even given that I’ve put on a few pounds and am not in as good of shape. Well, I think I could, anyway. LOL
